Sam is an Iraq War Veteran, a National Rifle Association (NRA) certified firearms instructor, an Illinois Rifle Association (IRA) member, and is licensed by the State of Illinois. As a Range Safety Officer (RSO) for the US Army for 13 years, gun safety and etiquette is his watchword. “Gun safety first marksmanship second.” Piggybacking off of his Criminal Justice degree, Sam has developed an amazing understanding of how Illinois gun laws work and how they affect the everyday citizen.
